Welcome to our lovely Guest House. A peaceful & homey accommodation, close to nature and a beautiful archipelago environment. A place where you feel welcome and cared for from day one. A picturesque all year home-from-home gem, in the coastal village Hunnebostrand in the heart of the beautiful Swedish county Bohuslän. Since 2020 Jeanette Åberg and Johan Romberg run Hunnebostrands Vandrarhem.

We often see in the kitchen or mowing the lawn, meanwhile he figure out the songs for the next Quiz night.

Our history

Jeanette and Johan took over Hunnebostrands Vandrarhem 2020, and since start working on putting its’ personal touch to the facility. During 2021we started the Restaurant full-service restaurant plus added a new outdoor serving space. 2022 we made sure you could charge your EV. Our restaurant kitchen got extended possibilities. 2023 we upgraded a few rooms for a touch of mini-suite feeling. The attic of our Restaurant and main building has now been restored into a conference facility with additional small meeting rooms.

Our beautiful ocean around the corner. Lovely swimming area 10 min away, with both sand beach and cliff bath.

We love our Smoke Free guest house; this includes all out & indoor spaces incl rooms. For our smoking guests, there are outdoor ‘Smokers corners’, look for the signs.

You can park your car here, either at advised parking lot next to our Entrance, or 75 meters across the main road. Also EV (Electrical vehicles) have 4 slots / parking lots with charging stations.

All our guests can use our Public Wi-Fi in all our premises. Login at ‘Sotenäs Free Wi-fi’.

Our Restaurant & Bar is open most days during High-Season, plus chosen occasions year-round.

Only food & beverages served by our restaurant is allowed on our Restaurants patios.

We love dogs! We have a few guest rooms where we allow your pets to join. Please contact us in advance to guarantee your pet to be able to stay with you.
